Dr Melissa Inger is one of our experienced Dental Surgeons here at Fraser Dental.
Melissa’s comprehensive education not only includes a Bachelor in Dental Studies, but also degrees majoring in psychology and neuropsychology. This could be why even our most nervous patients love her gentle approach and calming nature!
And it doesn’t stop there – she is passionate about continuing education to up-skill and learn how to apply new technology and methodology in her job. She is currently working towards completing a mini-residency in Orthodontics through world-renowned orthodontic specialist Dr Derek Mahony.
Melissa is a very creative person. She has always had a love of both art and science, and sees dentistry as the perfect combination: applying science to create beautiful smiles. Her favourite thing is improving a patient’s quality of life or confidence – and genuinely gets as excited as they do following transformative treatment!
Melissa is completely ambidextrous, which gives her a real advantage in the clinic. She has the enviable ability to use both of her hands equally so she can switch hands when performing dental treatments.
When she is not working or studying she is an avid snowboarder and tries to hit the slopes at least twice a year. She loves travelling and doing anything adventurous outdoors – be it on land, sea or in the air!
